Over many years working with church communities, we’ve learned that their structures, language, and diversity can often be confusing for outsiders. Too often, churches engage architects only for the relationship to break down, leaving years of work and significant funds wasted on projects that fail to meet the community’s needs. We’ve seen this happen multiple times—hundreds of thousands of dollars spent, only to start again from scratch.
As Christians and active churchgoers, we understand how churches operate. We share their passions. And we know that boards elected from congregations, while well-intentioned, can sometimes be inefficient and messy—we’ve served on plenty ourselves.
That’s why we’ve created a process designed to give fast, clear feedback and to help churches avoid the trap of unfruitful masterplanning and wasted fees.
